REINFARCTION ANGINA" is a degree of coronary insufficiency intermediate in severity between chronic angina pectoris on the one hand and actual myocardial infarction on the other. The syndrome has been described in some detail during the past 20 years, with considerable emphasis on early diagnosis and efficacy of different forms of therapy because of the high percentage of patients who subsequently develop a myocardial infarction.
